Collin hosts 15th annual Chili Cook-Off
The 15th annual Chili Cook-Off brought out a hungry crowd and some warm concoctions. Not only did attendees get to sample the chili creations, but a number of entrants took home honors for their foods.

The winners were: Mary Weis, Faux Chili (best fake chili); Sherry Jeffrey, Golden Spoon (best chili); Denise Brown, Road Kill (chili that tastes or looks most like roadkill); Ann Williams, Wimpiest Chili; James Shiplet, Hottest Chili; and Lynda Gates and Student Life, Best Table Decoration.

Chili Cook-Off judges taste the goods and mark their scores. Sherry Jeffrey, financial aid advisor, received the Golden Spoon award for the best chili.
Dr. Merry McBryde-Foster, dean of Health Sciences and Emergency Services, was clowning around at the recent Chili Cook-Off. Bowls sold at the Chili Cook-Off benefitted victims of the hurricane Katrina.
