Lynn Jones | Lynn Jones, professor of political science, was named associate editor of The Social Science Journal, the official quarterly publication of the Western Social Science Association -- a multi-disciplinary association in the social sciences. The Social Science Journal publishes interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary research in the social sciences.

| Mark Kaufman | Mark Kaufman, associate faculty in animation and graphic design technology and video producer at Allen City TVAGDT, received several awards from Keep Texas Beautiful and the Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors.

| Amina El-Ashmawy | Chemistry professor Amina El-Ashmawy’s article “Faculty Should Promote Colleges as Economic Engines” was published in the Oct. 11 issues of Community College Times.

| Ann Beheler |
Dean of Engineering and Emerging Technologies Ann Beheler was featured in “Melding Sound Learning Theory and Practices” in the October/November issue of Community College Journal in regards to her dissertation project as an example of combining professional work and graduate studies.

| Tiffanee Arnold | Dance chair Tiffanee Arnold was featured in The Dallas Morning News’ Over the Top section regarding her inspiration for creating dance pieces like “Momentum,” which was performed recently at the Fort Worth Dance Festival.

| Alicia Huppe | Alicia Huppe, director of recruitment and programs for new students, was inducted as the secretary of the Texas Association of College & University Student Personnel Administrators.
Executive Vice President Toni Jenkins was elected secretary of the North Central Texas Workforce Board. She is one of nine appointed members from Collin County named to the 14-county board.
