Health and Fitness: Dental treatments available

The bicuspids and molars of Collin’s faculty, staff and students have a sanctuary nearby.

The Collin Dental Hygiene Program offer services such as teeth cleanings, X-rays, pit and fissure sealant application and more.

Services are based on a sliding scale depending on the patient’s financial need. Patients should be prepared to pay at their first appointment. Cash and personal checks are accepted. Fees are set for each procedure no matter how many appointments it takes to finish. Patients should allow two to three hours for an appointment.

Medical and dental histories and a consent form prior to treatment are necessary. Those under 18 must have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian. Dental hygiene students are accompanied by faculty and supervising dentists.

The clinic is located at the Central Park Campus. Clinic hours vary from semester to semester. For more information or to make an appointment, call the Dental Hygiene Center at 972.548.6537 or 972.516.5030.
