Resources for Members in Public Practice
New marketing resources have been added to the Practice Management Community. Members now have access to a marketing plan template, sample client letters, information about service marketing and e-marketing, and more. View a complete list of marketing tools by logging in to the Members Only section of the TSCPA Web site, www.tscpa.org, and clicking on the Practice Management Community.

Financial Literacy
CPAs often grab the limelight during tax season. Regardless of your area of expertise, the high profile of CPAs likely means there are many opportunities to speak to civic groups and other community organizations. Take advantage of these opportunities by using speeches and PowerPoint presentations about financial literacy, tax planning, and other personal finance and small business topics from the TSCPA Speakers Bureau. Accounting Career Education (ACE)
Springtime is career fair time. You can connect students with the CPA profession by volunteering to help your chapter at a booth or in a presentation. Also, TSCPA has sent an ACE postcard to chapter-selected schools. The postcard reminds teachers to call on TSCPA if they need free materials or guest speakers during the spring semester. No Photo? Don't be a no show!
If you do not have a photo in the directory or your photo is five years or older, we need you! To include your photo for the 2005/2006 Directory, please make arrangements to visit Scofield-Cooper Photography at 114 N. Mesquite (882-1069). The pictures are at no cost to our members and they will mail them directly to the Chapter office. The deadline for including your picture is July 15, 2005.
