For nearly 30 years, John Mackey, CEO of Austin-based Whole Foods Market, has dedicated himself to business principles he calls "conscious capitalism." He will share his insights on Thursday, June 12 at A Conversation on Conscious Capitalism, a benefit event for the FLOW Conscious Capitalism® program.

The event will be held at St. David's Episcopal Church, 304 East 7th Street in Austin, from 7-8:30 p.m.  Tickets are $30 for general admission, $20 for students, and $100 for priority seating and a post-event reception (with John).

Throughout the growth of Whole Foods Market, Mackey has held fast to a mission-driven business model motivated by higher purpose and focused on serving all of its stakeholders as interdependent elements of an integrated system.  A Conversation on Conscious Capitalism will be an authentic conversation with Mackey as he reflects on the process of developing and discovering the Whole Foods Market business model, the future of Conscious Capitalism, and the implications—personal, economic and societal—of building a conscious business.
