Alumni Spotlight
Air Force junior Tyler McClung, Cascade alumnus, was named Mountain West Conference Men’s Tennis Players of the Week March 8th. Tyler went undefeated in four singles and four doubles matches that week as Air Force posted a 2-2 record. Competing at the No. 4 spot, McClung opened the weekend with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Mike Good of Army, followed by another straight set win (6-4, 6-1) over Montana State’s Branden Olson. The next day, he defeated Sergi Vila of Drake, 6-3, 6-4 and beat John Ghani of Missouri-Kansas City, 6-1, 6-1. McClung also teamed with Shannon Buck to post a 4-0 record in No. 1 doubles play.

During the months of January and February, Spanaway Elementary students were encouraged to read A LOT! The campus goal was 2,000 total books read. At the end of February, students had read a total of 9,753 books. Way to go kids! Great job Spanaway Elementary!
