Today is the last day of service for the Congress and 6th Street 船illo routes.
In August, the Capital Metro Board decided to move forward with the indefinite suspension of the 船illo routes in order to help the agency achieve a balanced budget for FY2010. The 船illo routes represent approximately three percent of total bus service but less than one percent of total ridership.
Current 船illo users, as well as other riders, can choose from a variety of other local routes that will take them in and around downtown Austin. Check out this new brochure that can help you plan your next trip downtown.
