Taste, Experience Camus at The Forge on Miami Beach

A Miami Beach legend since the 1960s, The Forge continues to feature some of the most superb steaks, the largest wine cellar and a who’s who of A-list clientele. With five elegant and dramatic dining rooms and Jimmy’z nightclub, the culinary icon is a favorite among locals and visiting celebrities.

The extensive appetizer menu can be a meal on its own with Beluga caviar, a lobster martini cocktail served with yellow tomato mango ginger wasabi cocktail sauce, oysters Rockefeller, crab cakes and house-cured salmon with a tequila lime sauce. For the main course, Chef Andrew Swersky, a recipient of the James Beard Foundation’s Rising Star Chef Award, delivers a diverse menu of tantalizing dishes, including tropical sea bass with avocado salsa and the 16-ounce aged "Super Steak," which was named the No. 1 steak in the nation by Wine Spectator. Desserts, including a crème brulée, chocolate blacksmith pie or a range of soufflés, are topped with a cigar and cognac in the lounge.

The Forge is open Mondays through Thursdays from 4 p.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., and Sundays noon to midnight. For reservations, call (305) 538-8533.
