Camus Cognac and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs
Jean-Paul Camus has been named to the elite Conseil d’Honneur of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. This prestigious appointment is in recognition of his outstanding leadership and service to the international society dedicated to the promotion of the culinary and hospitality arts. Camus joins Queen Noor of Jordan, Prince Henri of France and Prince Albert of Monaco in this honorary position.
In addition, Camus recently provided bottles of Jubilée for auction and sponsored awards honoring 10 U.S. chefs who vied for the gold medal in the Chaîne’s National Young Chefs Competition. During the annual competition, chefs representing the finest U.S. restaurants, hotels and culinary schools prepared three-course menus using the same ingredients and were judged on the taste, presentation and originality of their creations. The winner of the U.S. event goes on to compete in the international competition in September in Calgary.
