Hollywood lost $3 billion in music and $6 billion in movie pirated downloads, a third of them done on university campuses.

Congress is stepping up its crackdown on Internet piracy on taxpayer supported universities in an effort to help the bleeding entertainment industry and higher education work together. 19 universities have received letters, including UCLA, demanding they curb piracy or Congress “will be forced to act.”
