Economists Jack Kyser and Dr. Nancy Sidhu, LAEDC, present the forecast at LA Marriott, Downtown Los Angeles today (Wed., Feb. 17, 2010.) The LAEDC Report says U.S., California and Southern California face a measured economic recovery, with stronger growth in 2011. Regional growth will be led by entertainment, international trade and tourism industries, helped by major infrastructure projects. The study also reveals that there will be a modest rebound expected in single family home construction, but commercial real estate will remain in the tank.

Scheduled for April 22, 2010, the Scholarship Dinner will be an inspiring time of celebration for students from ITEP’s seven academies throughout California. Geraldine Knatz, the Port of Los Angeles’ Executive Director, will be awarded the 2010 Keeper of the Flame Award.

Food Demands for Hungry Families Skyrockets New Research shows

Michael Landver, CEO & Founder, Community Distribution Center (CDC), which opens in May 2010 in Los Angeles. “These figures are staggering,” said CEO & Found Michael Landver, Community Distribution Center (CDC), Sunland, which opens in May 2010. When I saw the new figures, it did not surprise me with the recession forcing layoffs and cutting into family budgets.” The CDC’s goal is to feed 500 families a week.
