Economists Jack Kyser and Dr. Nancy Sidhu, LAEDC, present the forecast at LA Marriott, Downtown Los Angeles today (Wed., Feb. 17, 2010.) The LAEDC Report says U.S., California and Southern California face a measured economic recovery, with stronger growth in 2011. Regional growth will be led by entertainment, international trade and tourism industries, helped by major infrastructure projects. The study also reveals that there will be a modest rebound expected in single family home construction, but commercial real estate will remain in the tank.
