Meat & Seafood Department

Fresh Alaskan Halibut is a favorite amongst our customers here at Bentley’s Market. Halibut from the North Pacific’s icy waters are prized for its delicate sweet flavor, snow-white color and firm flaky meat. It is an excellent source of high quality protein and minerals, low in sodium, fat and calories.

Pacific Halibut is caught in a responsible, renewable fishery by long line in the Northern Pacific, greatly minimizing the accidental by-catch.  Fresh Alaskan Halibut Steaks are favorites for Broiling & Grilling while Alaskan Halibut Filets are usually Poached or Baked.

Wine Department

April in the vineyard is usually a time of celebration and this year looks good!  The winter provided much needed water for the ground and so far there has been no damaging frost. The vines are on schedule for bud break in early to mid April and all seems well in the world. So I think a little celebration is in order and…  what better way to celebrate than a great meal and plenty of wine!
