SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES
Your BBBSW Offers You Some Considerations

Facebook is denying that they can use posted photos for their advertisements. True? False? They are stating that this is not true on their website. However, the Better Business Bureau of the Southwest (BBBSW) urges Facebook users to follow these procedures:

1. Click on SETTINGS up at the top where you see the log out link.
2. Select PRIVACY SETTINGS. Then select NEWSFEEDS and WALL.
3. Next select the FACEBOOK ADS tab (at the top).
4. There is a drop down box, select NO ONE.
5. Then SAVE your changes. (Do REPOST).

The BBBSW wants to use this Facebook example as a means to inform web users of the problems of using social networking sites and ways to protect yourself.
