Community Tax Centers Needs Volunteer Instructors
The Austin CPA Chapter strongly supports Community Tax Centers’ efforts in helping low-income individuals and families with tax return preparation. The program has grown so much that they need more support to help ensure that volunteers are properly trained and certified for this upcoming season.  Interested individuals are not required to be a current Community Tax Center volunteer, but should meet the requirements listed on this form (PDF). CPE credits are available through the IRS for volunteer CPAs. Please contact Jackie Blair, Volunteer Coordinator, with any questions and to sign-up.
