Tie-Dye Shirts are Back, and Premiering Dry-Weave Shirts, Too!
In record time, the Chapter sold out of the tie-dye “CPAs Count!” shirts, but a new shipment has arrived. We also have navy blue dry-weave shirts (men’s and women’s cuts) for your intense work-outs. Tie-dye shirts are $20, Dry-weave shirts are $30 and all proceeds support the Chapter Scholarship Program. To purchase a shirt, swing by the Chapter offices or contact Kaira Tanwar today.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Tax Season Media Response
TSCPA and the Chapter will soon be getting calls from local print and broadcast journalists on the hunt for well-spoken CPAs to talk about tax season issues. The requests themselves are rarely difficult - last-minute filing tips, the benefits of itemized deductions, etc. - but invariably, we even get calls on April 15th itself! Knowing the timing could not be any worse for our tax practitioners, we'd like to put together a list of Austin Chapter members willing and able to set aside 10-15 minutes during busy season to respond to media inquiries. If this sounds like a good fit for you, let us know.
