The Arts Council is now awarding up to a $4,000 fellowship in each of six different categories to recognize established professional working artists and to enable them to continue to pursue their creative work.

Santa Clara High School Student Is One of Seven Winners in California
The California Arts Council announced the winners of the agency’s first “California Story Slam” writing competition, a pilot project that encourages students to use the knowledge of their lives and emotional journeys to create literature. We are proud to announce the winner in Santa Clara County: Edna Tang, from Wilcox High School and her teacher, Heidi Vals.
