San Jose to Host 2010 National Arts Marketing Project Conference

Arts Council Silicon Valley and the City of San Jose are pleased to announce that San Jose and the Fairmont Hotel will host the 2010 National Arts Marketing Project Conference, a program of Americans for the Arts. This annual conference draws nearly 1,000 of the country's arts marketing and fundraising professionals. Arts Council of Silicon Valley, the City of San Jose Office of Cultural Affairs and the San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau will be coming together to form the host committee for the 2010 Conference.

"Bringing the National Arts Marketing Project Conference to San Jose is a big coup for the city and all of the partners involved," said Dan Fenton, President and CEO of the San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau. "To be able to attract the nation’s top arts marketers and fundraisers proves the nationally visibility of this region as an established arts community."

The conference dates are October 29-November 1, 2010. This year's conference is taking place in Houston, TX from November 9-12. To learn more about the conference, click here.
