OPS and the Pipeline Industry Continue to Make Progress Implementing Safety Programs
Oil pipeline operators have provided OPS with information on company compliance with the Sept. 30, 2004, deadline requiring operators to inspect at least 50 percent of the pipelines in high consequence areas. According to the industry, 64 percent of that pipeline has already been inspected.
