Lend a Paw Fundraising Event Benefits Homeless Pets

Camp Bow Wow and PRP Wine International are co-hosting the Lend a Paw fundraising event next Friday, May 9 from 5:30-9:00 p.m. A portion of proceeds from sales of books & wine cases go to Friends of Orange County's Homeless Pets (FOCHP), a non-profit organization dedicated to making unwanted pets in Orange County more adoptable and helping them find lifelong families. The event also features a book signing of Zen Chien by Cindy Scott and wine tasting by PRP Wine International.

Anaheim Community Summer Classes Announced
Registration is underway for summer classes offered by the Anaheim Community Services Department. Classes and summer camps in tiny tots, gymnastics, art, sports, fitness, dance, music, acting, movie making, engineering, martial arts and special interest are being offered June through August.

Forever Plaid: A Nostalgic Musical Offering By MTW

"Honor a Hero Hire a Vet" Job Fair Coming To Anaheim

The Orange County Veteran's Employment Committee and the Employment Development Department are proud to announce its Honor a Hero Hire a Vet” Job and Resource Fair. The fair will be held on Wednesday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Angels Stadium, 2000 East Gene Autry Way in Anaheim, CA.
The “Honor a Hero Hire a Vet” job fair will offer job seekers the opportunity to interview with approximately 80 employers and meet with educational and training providers representing a myriad of industries throughout Orange County. The job fair is free of charge for all job seekers and there is ample free parking available for all attendees. All Job seekers are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Airport Improvement Program Affects JFK Travelers This Summer
John Wayne Airport has begun construction on the Airport Improvement Program consisting of building a new 250,000+ square-foot Terminal C with six new bridged aircraft gates, new security checkpoints, and more customer amenities. In addition, two new parking structures will be built. To accommodate construction, there will be some temporary impacts on parking at the Airport. This summer the B1 Parking Structure will be replaced with a temporary Parking Lot C.
