In an attempt to serve our members better and to reduce costs, we've issued this quarter's "Chamber Chatter" as an 'eNewsletter'. We'd like your feedback on this sample of a chamber service that we're considering.

An 'eNewsletter' has many advantages. Because it's 'electronic' there is a cost saving over a traditional 'hard copy' style because paper and photocopying are not involved. Further costs are saved through the layout. This eNewsletter is done on a 'template' available through the internet. This makes it relatively easy for anyone with basic computer skills to 'lay out' the newsletter. The newsletter also looks more professional. Pictures are better and you can add other elements like clip art, charts, etc, to give it a 'classier' look. It also has features that allow readers to make comments on articles or take part in surveys.

But eNewsletters may not be for everyone. Unlike a traditional 'hard copy' newsletter, you can't pick it up and take it with you. Some people like to leave a newsletter around their office for others to read. And, for businesses without access to email, they would be unable to receive the eNewsletter.
