We believe that change is good. In 2003 Kevin had been in insurance for 10 years and Kat had had various jobs as well. Then we heard about the local Sears store being available for purchase. After much consideration, we decided to go for it and we haven't looked back.

Our local Sears Dealer store offers what any large Sears retail store offers in Major Appliances, Sports and Leisure, Sleep Sets, Electronics, Water, Vacuums and Sewing departments. And for the rest of the departments, we have the catalogue shopping available. We may not have all the products in our store, but we have access to them all.

While having Sears products and guarantees to offer our customers, it is up to us to make sure that our service is number one. And that’s what we want to be known for. We, like all business owners in Smithers, appreciate it when our community shops locally--and our appreciation will show in our service.
We feel that we have met and hopefully exceeded our goals of helping our customers make informed purchasing decisions. Our 5 year plan is on track and we hope to continue this trend and grow as our community grows.

As members of the business community, joining the Chamber of Commerce puts us in touch with other business owners in order to learn and grow. We feel that Chamber membership makes us better able to serve Smithers the way we want to.
