A slate of 13 municipal council and 4 school trustee hopefuls made up the Chamber's recent "All Candidates' Forum" held November 7th at the Roi Theater. Moderator Charlie Northrup (member of chamber's Business Development Committee) oversaw the event and kept the questions and debates flowing at a lively pace. Special thanks to the Interior News, ScotiaBank, Northern BC Real Estate Board, Art Buchanan and the Smithers Rotary Club for helping the chamber to hold this important community event. The chamber would also like to thank Jesse Butler for his very competent management of the sound system.
