Special Bond Election
November 5, 2002

Allen residents are asked to vote on funding for a regional performing arts center to be shared with McKinney, Frisco and Plano and for a recreational center for Allen's seniors. The Chamber Board of Directors voted at their September meeting to adopt a resolution in support of the arts center.

The County Line


In the 1999 county bond election, voters approved almost $5 million in bonds so that Collin County could partner with local cities in the expansion and in some cases the creation of their parks programs.  With Collin County being one of the fastest growing counties in the nation, voters realized that it is critical that we preserve some open spaces before they become glass and concrete.

Gateway Makes Networking Easy for Local Chambers of Commerce and Their Members

Allen Chamber of Commerce members can receive up to a 10% discount on hardware and up to 20% for training through Gateway’s Participation Program. The program discounts Gateway products and services to chamber members and enables Gateway to pay a rebate back to the chamber based on those sales.
