Beware this Map Scam

It has come to our attention that a gentleman named Perry who previously worked at Community Matters is approaching realtors and saying that he is representing Community Matters and selling advertising for several area chamber maps . He also says that he is in the market for a home and that if they purchase an ad he will buy a house from them. It appears that, to date, he has approached people in Southlake, Keller, Duncanville, Frisco, and Plano.

Community Matters is the Allen Chamber's official map company; however, this gentleman does not represent them any longer. If you are approached for ad sales from any company indicating they are working with the Allen Chamber please contact us either by phone (972-727-5585) or email info@allenchamber.com to determine if they are indeed one of our vendors.

It's always better to be safe than sorry!
