Fill the Bus
School Supplies Needed
The Chamber, along with the Allen Community Outreach Center, hopes to fill a school bus with school supplies for children in Allen. There are many children in Allen whose families cannot afford to buy shoes and school supplies. The Fill the Bus campaign will begin in July. Major businesses, their employees and the community will be encouraged to purchase school supplies to donate to these families. A school bus will be parked at various major businesses in Allen to collect the supplies. In addition to school supplies, donations for gift certificates to shoe stores will also be accepted.
