Your Favorite Chocolate Recipe is Needed!
The Friends of the Allen Public Library is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization established in 1983. The Friends are dedicated to supporting the Allen Public Library by providing funds and programs that would not otherwise be possible, such as new materials, author visits, concerts, and other special events. They are currently creating A Passions for Chocolate cookbook to be available this fall. Recipes are being collected from the Friends' Annual Chocolate Orgy Membership Celebration and from community leaders. Do you have a favorite chocolate cookie, ice cream or drink? If so, please share your recipe! Proceeds from the cookbook will help your library. Send them your recipe by June 15 with any interesting background information you would like to share.
