Celebrate Allen was once again a success thanks to our many sponsors and volunteers. The evening began with a wine reception followed by the welcome by Master of Ceremonies Scott Sams of WFAA-TV Channel 8. 

Volunteers were recognized and were presented with awards acknowledging their contributions to the community.

 

Andrea Stewart of Compliments, LLC was presented with the Pacesetter Award by last year’s winners Izzie and Perry Waller.  The Pacesetter Award is given to an individual that exemplifies leadership and dedication to the Allen Chamber of Commerce.
 
 

 
American National Bank was presented with the Community Partners Award.  Worley Stein with American National Bank accepted the award on behalf of the bank.  This award is based on leadership, volunteerism and financial support of the non-profit community.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
The Spirit of Allen Award exemplifies the very best of Allen and the positive spirit at work within our community.  The Spirit of Allen is awarded annually to an individual or group exemplifying the positive spirit at work within our community.  The award is granted in recognition of activities which promote civic pride, an action which places service to others above and/or an event which demonstrates the strength, energy andresourcefulness of Allen, Texas.  This year's Spirit of Allen is awarded to the late Sheila Curtis.  Accepting the award on behalf of their mother was Jennifer England and Felicia Roberts.
 

 
Zurich North America was presented with the Community Partners Award for the Major Business Category.  Acceptingthe award for Zurich was Mr. Gerald Ladner, Senior Vice President.
