2004 Celebrate Allen Banquet & Auction
honoring Chamber/Community Volunteers
 
On January 24, 2004, the Allen Chamber, the Allen Philharmonic Symphony and the Foundation for Allen Schools will partner once again to celebrate our community by bringing an evening of entertainment and recognition to all of Allen!  As in the past we will present awards to individuals and/or businesses that have had a positive impact on our Chamber and our community.  Any Chamber member may nominate an individual for the Pacesetter Award, presented to the individual or company member who best exemplifies commitment to the Allen Chamber of Commerce through distinguished leadership or service to the organization.  All Allen residents and Chamber members are encouraged to nominate an individual or group best exemplifying the positive spirit at work in this community for the Spirit of Allen award.  Celebrate Allen will be held at the Renaissance Hotel Ballroom - Richardson.  For further information or for reservations to Celebrate Allen, please contact the Chamber at 972-727-5585.
 
Pacesetter Award – Chamber Member of the Year
 
1.         Awarded annually to past and present members of the Allen Chamber of Commerce who have provided distinguished leadership or service to this organization.
2.         Granted by the Awards Committee from nominations from the officers and members of the Allen Chamber of Commerce in recognition of activities which increase participation and membership in the Chamber, leadership in providing guidance and direction to the Chamber and/or service in promoting activities which sustain and nurture the Chamber.
 
Spirit of Allen Award – Citizen of the Year
 
1.         Awarded annually to an individual or group exemplifying the positive spirit at work in this community.
2.         Granted by the Awards Committee from nominations by residents of Allen in recognition of activities which promote civic pride, an action which places service to others above self, and/or an event which demonstrates the strength, energy and resourcefulness of Allen.
