Kep Kepner, CPA

 The Entrepreneur’s Coach

November 13, 2003

7:30 – 9:00 AM

 Hilton Garden Inn

Kep Kepner is a CPA with a full-service accounting practice in Dallas with a background in sales and marketing.  With his background in marketing, Kep joined a regional CPA firm where he served a wide range of small business clients in areas such as systems, marketing, business organization, and mergers and acquisitions. In 1985 Kep cashed in his corner office and raised venture capital to acquire a company that had a new technology for building bank buildings. Cawthon Building Systems Inc. crashed along with most of the financial markets in the late 1980s. Like most entrepreneurs Kep thought of the Cawthon demise as a "learning experience." Kep opened his CPA practice in 1987 in his spare bedroom. That practice has grown and now includes another CPA and three other employees. What Kep has learned is the key factor that seems to separate the high achieving business owners and entrepreneurs from the also-rans. He calls this, "Having an Out of Business Experience." Because of his life experiences and what he has learned from his high achieving clients, Kep decided to offer his perspective in a variety of venues including professional speaking, books and other publications, CDs and tapes, entrepreneurial seminars and business coaching.
