WHAT, WHEN & WHERE? The Allen Chamber of Commerce Business EXPO 03 is an annual exposition highlighting Allen’s business community. EXPO 03 is scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2003 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:30 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn Conference Center in Allen, Texas.
WHO SHOULD EXHIBIT & WHY? Any Allen business or Chamber member that could benefit from exposure to the other businesses within our area. EXPO 03 will provide opportunities to:
· Meet new prospects
· Uncover unknown buying influences
· Identify & capitalize on new market trends
· Display new products & service and distribute product samples
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES TO AN EXHIBITOR? An exciting schedule of events and activities should draw many attendees. An intensive campaign promoting attendance througha special tabloid section in Inside Collin County Business will publicize this event throughout Collin County.
WHO WILL ATTEND? EXPO 03 will be open to the public at no charge and offers space for 75 exhibits of business products and services. It provides an excellent opportunity for attendees to uncover new product sources. Admission to the Expo is FREE. Thursday evening features the second annual Collin County Generating Business networking social which guarantees additional exposure for exhibitors.
WHAT MAKES THIS TRADE SHOW DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS EVENTS? As in the past EXPO 03 is part of the Chamber’s Business Appreciation Week which features the Allen Economic Development Corporation Millennium Awards luncheon. However, this year’s event includes added sponsors, Health Market, Presbyterian Hospital of Allen and Texans Credit Union, and will feature a mini-health fair, lower cost booth space and more exhibitors. In addition, the hours and day of the event have changed so more of Allen’s workforce can attend. Our partnership with Inside Collin County Business ensures exposure to the Collin County business community.
BOOTH DESCRIPTION - Booths are available in two sizes and come with draped table, two chairs and identification sign. Availability of electrical outlets is limited and will be assigned on a first paid-first served basis. Booth prices will increase by $25 the week of the event.
Single (10 x 6) $100 Chamber members $150 Non-members
Double (10 x 12) $200 Chamber members $250 Non-members
SPONSORSHIPS- Businesses choosing not to exhibit but wishing to participate as sponsors will be listed on all printed materials and advertisements and in a special display area at the event. Proceeds from sponsorships will be used for advertising/publicity costs. Contact the Chamber for sponsorship costs. Businesses contributing door prizes for the Generating Business drawings will also be recognized. Deadlines for inclusion in promotional materials will be August 15, 2003.
PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS/GIVEAWAYS - Many exhibitors will have product samples and demos.
A FINAL WORD - EXPO 03 is coordinated through Chamber volunteer efforts under the leadership of Expo Chair, Andy Stewart of Compliments, LLC. All proceeds are used to fund the continuing development of services and programs for our members.
