One of the major
projects underway at the Allen Chamber of Commerce is the redesign of our web
page. Josie Zendejas
has been hard at work for the last several months developing the new site.
The homepage will
feature our new logo and a cleaner look. Pages and links will be added to
improve navigation and online registration. The membership directory will
be updated automatically so that all listings are current, searchable and
members will be listed by category and by company name. Links to Chamber
programs will be added along with either downloadable or online applications
including membership application process. Our program of work will be published
online and of course the link to our newsletter. We will feature banner
advertising for those members who invest at the higher levels (that’s part of
their membership investment). There
will be a calendar listing all Chamber events and meetings. I think you will really like the new look
and feel.
As I have mentioned several times, the
Chamber board and staff are trying to be more open to input from our member
businesses and to seriously listen when one of our members makes a
suggestion. In that spirit, we would
like to know if any of you have suggestions for what you would like to see
included in our new website. If you do,
please let me (
mailto:bob@fortunefs.com), Josie (
mailto:josiez@attbi.com) or Sharon (
mailto: smayer@allenchamber.com)
know as soon as possible.
