That requires educators to be aware of the needs of the workplace, and to know how to assist their students in learning the technologies that continue to emerge and evolve at such a rapid pace.
 
TIES is brought to you by Texas Tech Prep consortia representing 22 counties in North Texas: Global EDGE (at Collin County Community College District), North Central Texas (at Dallas County Community College District), Texoma (at North Central Texas and Grayson County College), and Upper East Texas (at Paris Junior College).
 
InterLink, the North Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Instruments, HDH Consortium, Plano ISD, Region 10 Education Service Center, the North Texas Regional Technical Consortium, funded through the National Science Foundation, and the Dallas Morning News have taken an active role in ensuring that this summit will provide you with a wealth of information that will strengthen the educational process.
