STANDING COMMITTEES  
       AIBC – Allen International Business Coalition: Comprised of leadership of Allen’s largest companies, this committee was established to provide a regular forum for systematically identifying and addressing business challenges, problems and opportunities of the larger business community and to periodically met with representatives of regulatory agencies of the City of Allen for the purpose of building relationships and developing mutual understanding.  Subcommittees of this group include the Human Resource Managers, Facility Managers and Emergency Preparedness Network.
 
      M.A.R.T. – Membership Acquisition & Retention Team: New for ’03!  Team members will concentrate on membership recruitment and retention activities with emphasis on determining what services the prospective and current membership considers value-added.
 
       Ambassador Club: Official hosts for the Allen Chamber of Commerce; members participate in all ribbon cuttings, ground breaking and grand –opening ceremonies. 
 
       Governmental Affairs: Works to establish and maintain contact with governing bodies and to provide the membership with information on issues affecting the business community. Hosts annual Candidate’s Forum.
 
       Small Business Committee & Task Force:  Encourage, educate and assist small and independent businesses, helping them through all available channels to expand and reach their full economic potential.
