You are invited to take advantage of
this wonderful opportunity to recognize the outstanding individuals, groups and
businesses who contributed invaluable time and effort to your organization as
volunteers in 2002.
The 23rd Annual Volunteer of the
Year Awards Luncheon, a program of the Volunteer Center of Collin County, is a
unique opportunity to honor outstanding volunteers in your organization. This
special community event draws over 600 attendees each year. This year’s
luncheon will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at Plano Centre at which time
the names of the award recipients will be announced.
Individuals and groups will be
recognized in each of the following categories: Civic/Community Leadership,
Humanitarian, Education, and Youth. There will also be awards for small
businesses (100 employees or fewer) and large businesses (over 101 employees or
more).
Nomination forms are available on their
Web site at
www.volunteernorthtexas.org.
Submitting a nomination
automatically puts your volunteer(s) in the spotlight! A picture of your volunteer or group of
volunteers will be included in a PowerPoint presentation, and the names of the
individuals and groups will be included in the awards program. Also, individual
nominees will receive a complimentary ticket to the luncheon. Groups will be
provided one complimentary ticket.
