A special election will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2003 asking and Lovejoy ISD patrons to vote for or against the consolidation of both school districts. If approved by voters in both school communities, the consolidation would occur in July 2003.
All registered voters in the Allen Independent School District are eligible to vote in the consolidation election on February 1st at Allen City Hall from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Early voting continues through January 28th from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Allen City Hall.
