Worley Stein
President, American National Bank – Allen
 
Worley Stein, president of the Allen Banking Center, joined American National Bank (ANB) in 1985 as a commercial loan officer at the Allen location.  For those 14 years, he originated loans that contributed to the economic growth and stability of Collin County.  In January 2000, he was named president of the Allen Banking Center and assumed management of the center’s daily operations.
 
Before joining ANB, Worley worked as a commercial loan officer and professional and executive lender for another financial institution.  He also had various credit and collection managerial positions with a large corporation for six years.
 
An Allen resident for more than 20 years, Worley was elected to three terms on the Allen Independent School District board of trustees and served two years as board president.  He has served on the board of directors of the Allen Chamber of Commerce in the late 1980’s and on the Leadership Allen Steering Committee.  He also is a graduate of Leadership Allen.
 
Worley has participated in fundraising efforts for numerous organizations including the Boy Scouts, YMCA and United Way, and has served as a youth coach for the Allen Sports Association.  He is currently a member of the Allen Sunrise Rotary Club.
