A weekend filled with holiday activities is scheduled for December 6 - 8, 2002. Activities are planned in Allen to attract kids of all ages.

The festivities begin on Friday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m. for the City of Allen's annual tree lighting ceremony. Santa will be on hand to welcome the kids. Then, start the day off on Saturday morning with the annual Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast with Santa. Also, the City of Allen will host a 5K Rudolph Run and an Elf and Frosty Fun Run beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. After your morning run you will want to visit the Christmas Bazaar and Craft Fair at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center from 9:00 to 5:00. The weekend's activites would not be complete without the annual Holiday Parade, sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Allen.
