From the Chairman

We have just ended our Business Appreciation Week. A big thank you is due our Chamber staff – Sharon, Carol and Pam – for their hard work and smiles. Our purpose for the entire week was to focus our attention on our Chamber businesses and to show them how much we value their being in Allen and the surrounding area. Thanks also to The Economic Development Corporation and Inside Collin County Business for co-sponsoring with the Chamber the Millennium Awards Luncheon; Audie Adkins and the Frisco Chamber of Commerce for their participation in the Eggs & Issues Breakfast with Bill Hammond of Texas Business Association as well as the After Hours event; American National Bank for sponsoring our Finance Luncheon on Friday with our speaker, Jason Saving, from the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank; Bank One, The Dallas Morning News, and the Hilton Garden Inn for co-sponsoring our Collin County Chambers of Commerce After Hours event; the Hilton Garden Inn for allowing us to use and spotlight their beautiful, new facility for all of our activities during the week; our Chamber businesses who exhibited in the Expo held on Friday evening and Saturday; and, our Chamber members who attended the events of the week. I look forward to seeing you at our membership luncheon on October 15 with guest speaker Clarice Tinsley of Fox 4 News! Thanks for all you do
