 A memo issued by FEMA on Friday, January 20 changed the terms of the 403 housing assistance programs by rescinding the Feb. 28 ending date for those programs, and instead stated that 403 assistance should continue until eligible evacuees can be transitioned into the 408 program.

Karen Tepera joins JPI Management
as Vice President Business Development
JPI, one of the nation’s largest luxury apartment companies, providing development, construction and property management services for conventional and student living communities nationwide, has announced the appointment of Karen Tepera, CPM, CAPS, to the post of Vice President Business Development.

Work on North Dallas' next mega-shopping complex begins
Demolition crews have imploded a 10-story office tower on the east side of North Central Expressway at NorthPark Boulevard to make way for the development.
Along with an urban-style shopping complex, the 33-acre Park Lane Place will include apartments, condominiums, a hotel and office space. The price tag for the mixed-used development is close to $400 million - even higher than the NorthPark Center shopping mall expansion under way across Central.

DART train stop lures apartments
$34 million mid-rise project planned in Telecom Corridor
Developers in Richardson are hitching a ride on DART's light rail line. Legacy Partners Residential Inc. have announced that it will build a $34 million, 278-unit apartment complex adjacent to the Galatyn Park rail station on the east side of North Central Expressway.
