For optimum shelf life, Loctite® Speedbonder™ Structural Adhesives should be stored refrigerated at 2ºC to 8ºC.

Yes, in addition to their enhanced bond strength to metals, the full line of Loctite® Speedbonder™ Structural Adhesives are also designed to bond plastics and composites. Due to these unique attributes, the products excel at bonding dissimilar materials such as metal to plastic.

Do these products emit an odor? If so, is the odor harmful?
As with many adhesives, these products do emit an odor, but since the formulation is made up of 100% solids and contains no solvents, the odor is not harmful. When large volumes of these adhesives are applied, ventilating equipment can be used to improve the work environment.
 
Is surface preparation required when using these products?
Minimal or no surface preparation is required when using Loctite® Speedbonder™ Structural Adhesives as long as there are no unusual contaminants on the substrate’s surface.
