Elastic Adhesives and Sealants
Revolutionary Elastic Adhesives and Sealants Withstand High Stress Environments: Paintable, Odorless, Isocyanate/Solvent/Silicone-Free
 A highly elastic adhesive and sealant technology has been introduced that withstands elevated levels of mechanical stress while maintaining the flexibility critical for absorbing shock and vibration. Based on modified silane polymers, Loctite® MS products are odorless, isocyanate/solvent/silicone-free, and resistant to the UV radiation and weathering found in outdoor applications.
Loctite® MS adhesive technology offers high adhesion to a range of substrates without primers or surface preparation. The products in this new family can be painted, and are a highly suitable alternative to mechanical fasteners and other elastic adhesives.
Three single component, non-corrosive products are available in the new family. Loctite® MS 930™ Elastic Sealant is designed primarily for sealing out moisture and contaminants. Offering both high elongation and high strength, Loctite® MS 939™ Elastic Adhesive delivers excellent performance as a general purpose adhesive or sealant. Loctite® MS 9360™ Elastic Adhesive offers the greatest bond strength and highest modulus in the line, and is ideal for high strength bonding.
Loctite® MS Elastic Adhesives and Sealants are easy to dispense. The products offer proven performance on appliances, heavy equipment/machinery, and specialty vehicles. They may also be used in construction applications such as panel bonding and window glazing, and for pool and spa trim bonding.
