Henkel and Volumetric Dispensing
New Volumetric Syringe Dispensing System Offers Precision to 0.001 ml.
 Henkel Corporation has introduced a new patent pending adhesive dispensing system, the Loctite® Posi-Link™ Volumetric Syringe Dispenser, designed to accurately and repeatedly dispense adhesive shots as small as 0.001 ml, regardless of viscosity or temperature changes.
This easily programmable positive displacement dispenser offers greatly improved consistency over traditional manual or pneumatic dispensers. The system effectively uses the pre-packaged, disposable syringe as a metering cylinder, and relies upon an electronically controlled step motor and non-compressible hydraulic fluid to ensure that a precise volume of adhesive is dispensed through a mechanical plunger.
The Loctite® Posi-Link™ Volumetric Syringe Dispenser uses prepackaged Loctite® adhesives in 5, 10 or 25 ml syringes. The system is designed for hand held, stationary, or robotic applications. It features no wetted components and does not require adhesive to be downloaded to a syringe barrel. The automatic package engagement feature ensures error-free syringe changeover.
Internal diagnostics detect low adhesive levels, loss of pressure and clogged nozzles and faults, making the system ideal for automated assembly lines. The dispenser offers an extremely small benchtop footprint, with a remote actuator that can be either wall mounted or positioned below the workbench. Mechanically-driven fluid pressure ensures that air will not infiltrate the adhesive or be sucked back into system, and that dripping will not occur.
