LoctiteŽ Visible Light Cure technology includes a range of adhesives and dispensing/curing equipment that requires no venting or specialized protective equipment to ensure worker safety. These adhesives cure through UV blocking clear and select colored substrates, including translucent variations of blue, purple, gray, white, and green. All adhesives in the LoctiteŽ Visible Light Cure line offer excellent adhesion to various plastics including polycarbonate, PVC, and ABS and are ISO-10993 biocompatible.
LoctiteŽ Visible Light Cure technology can be used in a wide range of industrial and medical assembly applications, and is ideal for designs made with select translucent substrates that will not transmit UV light. The low heat output of visible light cure systems delivers excellent results on temperature sensitive substrates. Available in low and high viscosity formulations, these adhesives provide superior cure depth and offer fluorescence for easy quality control inspection.
